Funny movie that is actually based on a real person and events.

They certainly captured the spirit of the original. I liked it.

It's a feel good underdog movie about Rudy Ray Moore. It's a true story. I watched it because I'm a fan of comedians Eddie Murphy and Jerry Seinfeld. Eddie told Jerry that the man died well-off in the L.A. area. He was a stand up comedian doing bits until he died.

I ain't to proud to say that I was emotional at the end, like the thread about Willie T. Ribbs, I cheered at the ending.

There is a definite lull at this point (and I almost quit watching it too) but after that the story and pace really picked up.
