tweeters should go up near ear level. The need to have a crossover. And +1 you need an amp, and a deck that allows some fine tuning.

That would not be possible in this application. It sounds very decent, not quite as good as the factory stereo in my newer cars but very acceptable. And the x-over is in the wire, as pointed out a few posts back.
