Car Bar and Lounge [so much yes]

Pretty excited if this comes to reality in my neighborhood. I doubt I can hit the price point to park inside, but I'd toss back a couple and enjoy the view.

Interesting concept - making money off of cars you are making money off of by storing. Bet it will turn out to be very popular. Where is it located?

They are building something similar but not as fancy near me in St Augustine. It’s almost completed. The sign says indoor climate controlled storage, display and meeting place for car clubs. Should be interesting if done right.

No battery powered cars allowed. We don't want the place bursting into flames.

I had that idea several years ago, and even talked to my car buddy doctor neighbor about investing. But for the up-front capital investment I was having a hard time seeing it actually being profitable. My idea was minus the restaurant, but it was a high end climate controlled storage facility that included a gathering space to make it more like a private club. A non-climate controlled private storage unit here is about $75, I was looking at needing at least $250 per month. All back of the napkin numbers, I still think it's a great concept.

This is slated to be in Loudoun County, VA. About 30-miles outside of DC. There is a lot of money out here [present commentator excluded].

On the car side: It could be a simple line of stored cars..up to a full blow work area.
Watch the monkeys struggle and don't bang on the glass.
There would need to be extra OSHA/EPA/Insurance/Waiver provisions for that.
Cordoned off. Separate passkeys. Cameras.

On the lounge side: It could be a simple walkway with viewing areas..up to a full blown restaurant bar, pool tables, video games gift shop, and water slide (or pole dancers).
Captive audience for the food and drinks.
