I can't keep up with the toilet paper/coronavirus posts. I miss snow tire threads.

Just sayin'...

I bought some nice Continental tires. Got stuck in the mud in my truck even though I had General Grabber ATX's on.

Most of my snow tires are probably starting to dryrot- I never even got to really test my studded generals, but they seemed stiffer than my studless tires. That almost sounds like a personal problem. Between three sets of them for two cars, there has NOT been a reason to mount any of them for the last two years. arghhh!

But anyways- I'm mostly happy because spring is here and the weather is all warm, and all sorts of things are blooming. Perhaps I should make this a snow tires/SPRING HAS SPRUNG thread! I am going to get out tomorrow and take some early spring pics!

Only thing turning green here is the grass that somehow grows in the stone driveway. I swear I should pull some and have it genetically analyzed. I hit that stuff with Roundup a few times a year and it just keeps coming back.

Wouldn't you expect studs to be stiffer? Isn't that part of what makes them studs?

Yeah, nothing better than snow tires and a cold steel katana, except maybe a clean windshield and high octane gas. This might be a good day to put on the old helmet and goggles, and go searching for the Red Baron. Or break out the barbecue and do a little raking.

Cause you know, Spring. I'm due for some new Summer tires, out here at Lake Snow be gone. Time to figure out some other way to get your stud action.

I just replaced a set of those. Got stuck in the mud pretty bad by the side of the house. Ended up sticking it in 4 low at idle and cm my way out. Replaced them with Goodyear all terrain ta ko2....
