I really didn’t have to see the video! I’ve been living with back pain for a number of years and throw in an occasional kidney stone for good measure. The only other issue I have Is prostate cancer which is painless until they do a biopsy every couple years.

This time tomorrow it will be over I’ll see who was right?

Never watch the video of a surgery you are contemplating, not ever.

Women are way tougher than men, it is just a fact.

That's really good advice. All that can do is freak you out and make it difficult on everyone.

Better to see it live.

Post op day 1 after surgery

This is my selfie 10 hours after the eyelid / brow lift surgery. For me it was almost a full week before I felt normal again. I kept a daily log of medications, symptoms and pain. Good Luck Craig! SmileWavy

They just give you a local or they knock you out?

CMDR Perry 03-16-2020 06:18 AM

I was knocked out for about 3 hours. I found out the hard way that you need to make sure you drink plenty of water every day after the surgery to avoid dehydration.

All done, finished up an hour ago too about an hour, no after pain just keep ice on it for a few days. I can see so much better, everything is so clear.

Great job...well done!

sugarwood 03-16-2020 03:25 PM

Is that supposed to heal without scarring?
Those could be some large visible scars

CMDR Perry 03-16-2020 03:34 PM

Wow, that looks completely different from my procedure. I had stitches all across my eyelids. Glad to hear all is going well. DP

DonDavis 03-16-2020 03:34 PM

That's great news! Glad it went well and you're home.

And if those scars end up visible, you can have fun spinning tales to the kids about them! Ha!

cgarr 03-16-2020 05:36 PM

Any scars will be hidden when my eyes are open and he puts them on a fold line. These go all the way across from my nose to the outside just hard to see because it’s swollen up
