Paul Brodie's Shop

I've been watching Paul's videos since the beginning and there's always excellent.

If you like classic steel framed bicycles, motor cycles and old school machining then you'll enjoy his videos.

Here's his latest.

One of Paul's frames.

Paul is one low key guy!

And he says skookum, so that's cool...

Agreed... FYI: Paul invented the sloping top tube bicycle frame.

- And good luck finding one of his classic steel frames at anything resembling a reasonable price.

I like his videos because he doesn't do anything we couldn't do in our own shops. (with the right equipment)

One more post and that's it...

If it helps Paul Brodie & Tom Ritchey are good friends.

One of the bikes I had long ago was a Brodie ClimbMax.
It was a beautiful bike, fillet brazed. Wonderful craftsmanship.
I really never got comfortable on that bike for some reason and sold it off to help pay the parts tab on a Rocky Mountain team bike that was offered the next season.

Old School loveliness... I wonder what happened to your frame.

I had a Mongoose back in the early 90s. I crashed and wrecked it

There's a full Campagnolo OR (Off Road - 8 Speed x3) group sitting on a shelf in my office ready to go.
- I just have to find the right frame.

One more update if I may?

Paul has changed the format of his videos so now they're shorter and released twice a week.

I'm having back spasms just looking at that.

FYI: Paul Brodie had sever back pain and was then diagnosed with cancer.

He's doing Chemo right now but he's still in there producing videos. I really hope he has a good outcome.

LOL... But I think often people raise the seat tube for photos.
