Well we made it through the night , Dexter was restless I think he was concerned Mickey wasn't there :( . This morning after eating his breakfast Dexter started wandering the house we think he was looking for Mickey . Each day will get a little better I have been through this many times . But it gets no easier . And again thanks to everyone that took the time out of your busy days to provide comments and comfort . This is a great community we have here and it should not be taken for granted . SmileWavy

BTW we will have to catch up sometime when I head up your way. I'm in the city. Is it possible I saw you and your car at an event at Auto Haus Social a few months back?

It's possible you saw me and my car . Was it very cold that day ? I remember there were only like 2 guys there when I showed up .

I am very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one (human, canine, or other) is a tough emotional time. Unfortunately, end of life situations happen way more frequently for our canine companions, they just don't live long enough. The option of euthanasia to end suffering for pets is a blessing. After the loss of a pet, we all share experiences about our pets and reflect on the value they bring to our lives. They are special and not forgotten.
