Come on JB.

I bet you can't count all the times you were driving your 4x4 down the road thinking to yourself.
Dang, this would be a perfect drive if my forward visibility just wasn't so good. I wish there was a practical solution for that .

It must be. Saw a Tahoe last weekend and get a good laugh about the one we saw. Then my wife saw it parked in the neighborhood. Then this evening, he passed us. Big thumping base, idiot standing out the sunroof, weaving and speeding, etc. it’s like he was begging for a ticket.

The first time we saw him hanging out at the shopping center.

Rich parents paying for junior’s whip.

Junior being cool with his friends tonight.

I have not seen that one here in the capital city yet. How long has it been a thing?

Maybe it's a lowcountry thing.

EDIT: I just noticed that little tag in the top photo... Squat Truck... so from a little searching:

That's the drag racing look from the early '60's. So your mom's 6.70 x 14 bias plys might get a better bite a split second before they went up in flames.

It's just fashion. Everything old is new again.

My personal favorite: I followed him to see where he was going. He went to a scrap yard.

Unfortunately we see many examples of all of these different types of trucks here in NE Florida.
