USPS is kicking A during this mess

Normal shipping by FedEx, UPS, and Amazon for stuff I'm getting for work and home is all behind schedule the last couple weeks but not USPS. Everything I've had shipped purely by USPS is getting here in 2 days. Just wanted to give them credit and let others know if they're deciding how to ship right now.

I have to agree that USPS is really stepping up. Frankly they are the dead last organization that I thought would provide good service at this time. I am delighted to say that I was completely wrong.

They have been kicking azz and taking names. Been sendin' it!

Yeah, they owe us. One of the most horrible entities to deal with for years.

I have a friend that works for USPS in Florida. They are getting no masks, gloves, disinfectant, etc.

They are also forced to work in groups in facilities, mailsorting etc.

They're unionized. I wouldn't worry much

I mainly ship usps bc of my po box and lack of caring when stuff comes by the other two.
They still use the FedEx planes. So it's going to be coming on time. If that partnership ends. Lol it'll be loaded on trailers and put on rail. Slooooow just like the media mail.

I bought a small item from Miami. USPS was only ten bucks and it was in New Zealand seven days later - fantastic.

Two weeks ago I sent a package Priority (3 Day delivery) to a friend in Montana. I found that I forgot include a minor thing in the package so sent an additional package First Class a few hours later. The first class parcel got there in two days. It took the Priority package a week and a half. We were tracking it and it kept bouncing back and forth between facilities in St Paul and Minneapolis. Then it took three days to get from Minneapolis to Billings. Took another day to get to Butte.

Our carrier just informed us today that they will stop delivering mail/packages to our office. Not even a sticky note on our front door “if” we have mail/packages. WTF?? We have to call the post office every day to see if there’s a package or they’ll just return it. Total BS. Yeah, that’s a helluva job.....

Quite a few USPS packages are shipped by FDX/UPS and then dropped at the local PO where the local carrier delivers them. That is why when you track something and it says delivered but you dont get it for 2 more days.

Just 10 minutes ago, while I was in my yard...the USPS delivery truck pulled into my drive to drop off an Amazon package.
If I had been inside, I would have stayed inside and let her place it by the front door.
As it happened, I saw no sense in her walking right past me another 100 feet when I was right there.
So we both extended arms to transfer the box. What a weird picture that makes.

I've ordered more things on Ebay over the last week than I have in the previous year because Amazon's prime shipping is now weeks on most items rather than two days. I wonder how many others are shopping elsewhere online now?
