Covid-19 Vs. Opiods

I can piece it together. Dx, Rx, Tx, however, it's premature to make complete sense of it all, but seems fathomable that something lies in the tie. Crack down on opiods, here she comes.

My POV is multiscoped, there is no room here for politics. That has a place already established.

If it was, or is international politics, it is beyond any needed input. That seems to be a given, at least from my perspective. Leave that aspect out as well, please.

Specifically, our opiod crack down has yielded.... Tie it all up.

I can see the words, but I have no idea what the question is, much less the answer.

Sounds like something Joe Biden would write.

The liquor stores are considered a essential business so they are open.

Had a shoulder and other aches that were hurting last night, so I took one of my wifes magic pills. Went pretty good with a few beers, so I got to thinking and posted this. Lost my train of thought somewhere...

What I wanted to get at was a connection between the Chinese pharmaceutical supply (opiates) and our government cracking down on opioids, with an additional correlation of Treatment of Covid-19. I felt awful last night, headache that would come and go, shoulder hurt, chills, ear ache. That one pill cured it all and I felt great this morning.

Was just thinking that our crack down such drugs led the Chinese into a "we will show you" mentality and released a virus that opioids respond well to. These people are dying, and I wonder what hydrocodone might relieve, or aid in recovery.

I know opioids aren't really a Tx, they just mask the symptoms/pain. My wife recently kicked hydrocodone after 7 years of daily use. That's why we have some around the house. She was addicted, but never went so far to be considered as a substance abuser. Her addiction was only noticeable when she was running low on supply. She needed them to function. Thank goodness she doesn't take them anymore.

Throw the patients a pill, see how it works, is my opinion.

I believe most docs recommend acetaminophen for the discomfort of Coronavirus, not as a cure. That's fancy for Tylenol (not an NSAID, like aspirin).

The popular opioids are about 325/10, meaning 325 milligrams of acetaminophen and 10 milligrams of some opioid concoction. Late stage cancer patients can get up to about 325/80's, since addiction is not an issue.

The problem is, the 325/10 (or 325/5) really only do the feel good part for a few weeks, then you need more (just like heroin) for the same buzz (but they're great pain relievers). In really extreme cases, the huge amounts of acetaminophen ruin your liver. The heroin component really isn't too hard on your organs, except for the cessation of breathing/heartbeat thing.

Thank you for the replies. Ibuprofen is an NSAID as well, stay away they say. I'm not much worried about myself and family. Just trying to think outside the box in order to help others.

I have a spring in the back yard, but no materials needed to build a still to make hand sanitizer. I'm behind.

Carry on.

It isn't denial, but rather reality. Your curbside service is out of work. Even the homeless are sheltering, you think your hooker is working?

Acetaminophen does more than reduce discomfort, it reduces fever too. It's labeled for that purpose. I had something going wrong and had a fever of 103. I was so out of it from the fever I was barely able to drive myself to the Urgent Care box. Doc gave me a Tylenol and told be to go home and rest. Twenty minutes later my head cleared and I felt fine.

Where is this all headed? The Chinese did not "release" a virus in retaliation. Come the fook on.
And they sure as hell didn't maneuver to get us to buy more Norco's. They manufacture a HUGE % of our medicines and that's all in jeopardy. They have nothing to gain and much to lose.

This stinks of BARF and I admit stinking it up.
