i kinda want to unload a few shotguns.

maybe two.

both Beretta's. one O/U and one SxS..i cant hit crap with the SxS. like NOTHING. i got one quail with it and i had to "arkansas" the little guy.

what is my strategy? just drop it off at a gunshop consignment? seems like the most painless method.

I would sell them on Calguns classifieds. It is a bit more of a PITA but it will make you more money than consignment. Research their values on gunbroker etc. and post high quality pictures and things sell quick. Since it has to go through an FFL anyway you are assured you wipe your hands clean. I have nothing but good experiences dealing on Calguns.

PM me with some details, being a bird hunter, I am always interested in scatterguns. Maybe I can do a group buy?

And of couse, wait until the CV blows over. I doubt you'll want to go to a gunstore right now and do a bunch of paperwork, even if it is open.

+1 for CalGuns if you are in CA.

Or, you could always throw them up on Gunbroker. If you sell them to an out-of-state buyer, you can usually ship them direct to the receiving party's FFL (no need to go through an FFL to ship).
You just have to make sure the receiving FFL accepts private-party shipments (most do, as long as you include a copy of your ID).

That is, unless CA has since restricted/stripped that right away as well...

I don’t think you can post in the Calguns classified until you have a min post count to help weed out the scammers
LGS consignment or Gunbroker may be your best option

Post on a couple threads, not that hard, especially for our Vash. Right now he is holed up and can talk guns for a couple posts no problem until the FFLs are clear to visit.

I posted on calguns classifieds almost immediately after registering. This was maybe 4 years ago. What models are they? My wife might shoot me if I get another gun, but hey...

First cars, now guns. I predict you'll be getting into bingo soon. Or maybe pool. You'll be cruising the pool halls in a Mustang with Paul.

List them on GUNS INTERNATIONAL...lots of high end stuff on there...about 10 or 12 for a forever listing...thats the total cost. No commish..

All the high end dealers list there..

I have sold 5 figure stuff there and a couple of them went overseas.

I had a Beretta 12 gauge semi auto shotgun. Loved that thing, but gave it to my brother.

Easy there! I have a lot of shotguns. I’m not keeping the ones that I have to fight into body position. I picked up a Winchester sxs that shoulders perfectly to my body. I’ll keep a Citori, the Winchester, several autos, then pick up a benelli M1 (?) in case someone wants to steal my toilet paper.

Thinking of buying more PCP airguns. High en$ stuff. And my own air compressor.

No pool, no golf. No mustangs.

I used to hunt with a side by side. I swore the barrel was bent upward.
Always went back to my single shot.
