Sending a gun part back to Glock service.
I should have gotten night sights from the get go. The factory will install them for $67.
If I just send the slide, I don’t need to go thru an FFL right?

If you have a vise and a soft/nylon punch the rear sight is an easy DIY job. The front sight is is even easier.

I made my Sevigny replica sights (made a 3 sets) for my IDPA competition Glock 34.... I used a brass bar to tap my rear sight into place after carefully hand fitting the dove tail portion of my new sight. The front sight is held in place with a shallow head screw that pretty much needs a custom socket driver to get any purchase on.

You can pack it with a bit of paper towel (or whatever) to make a depth stop, so the screw doesn't sink into the bit when trying to screw it in.
