Floss or brush first?

Dental hygiene question. I floss and brush and sometimes follow up with mouth wash. The mouth wash comes last, I am sure, but how about the other two?

Answer the poll and let's hear the arguments for your methods!

Soft-pick first, then floss, then brush, then mouthwash.

But why?

I brush first, floss last because I feel I have to get ahead of the gunk with brushing before doing detail work.

Looks like i have been doing it wrong!

The idea with floss is to break up the plaque matrix. I put a bit of toothpaste on the floss and work it at a 45-degree angle to each tooth. Dad is a Periodontist, so I have gotten the sermon twice a year. Use red dye to see where your brushing and flossing is missing so you change your habits. I use a dental mouth rinse made by Ropar, which is the best in the biz.

I'm the one of a small number who is not prone to rotting teeth or gums so I take the advice of the scientists who say flossing is no benefit to oral or dental health.

I hate mouthwash, peroxide makes me puke. But I do brush once a week if I remember.

It keeps people away.

The always seem to be, these days. I think we should go back to the dark ages instead. Much better life without science, including dental care!

Those brush type tooth picks after I've eaten.

Before bed a floss, then brush, then some sorta mouthwash that protects teeth over night against acid attacts throughout the night.

It's a good idea to get rid of the rubbish between the teeth.

HEY MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS!

The less flossin’ the better for business, though I am curious who these scientists are.

Done properly flossing is an integral part of proper oral hygiene.
