They’re tasty and nutritious.

My 16 and 21 y.o love Kale chips. They buy a bag, season it and I think toast it in the oven. It's really not bad but I like my tater chips.

My neighbor planted Kale as a cover crop two years ago and my kids were begging me to go cut some for them.

Had a friend who got in a bad rear end accident. He lost all taste and smell for around 9 months. He lost a lot of weight, said eating was a chore. Just chewing and swallowing to make sure he got nutrition, I think he also did the Ensure thing for awhile.

Taste, with a nod to health/nutrition. Life is about finding joy where you can. Food is comfort and we do spend money (cook at home) eating and drinking well. Less money for retirement, but we did enjoy life when we could.
