Taycan Super Bowl Ad

I love this ad. So much fun. Youtube has a video about the making of this ad if you're interested.

Tractor was a nice touch. Only us cognoscenti would "get it."

Needed a 904/906 & an RSK in action, but I guess we're selling electric cars now.

Should have had German security. The cars would have never left the facility.

In the making video they talked about how the 917 could only be driven by one guy in the world and it didn't have have reverse so anytime they needed to retake the scene they had to physically push it into place.

I’ll buy that it didn’t have reverse, but only one guy can drive it? There are quite a few guys that still race them regularly....

pretty sure the 917 had a reverse gear (and a spare tire) maybe it just wasn't working. (they had a 917K displayed at sebring one year, prior to it being restored) - and I was on hand when they started it and reversed it. It wasn't happy being reversed - but it went there on it's own. In reality - they are tiny cars

At the 2005 Hershey, PA PCA Parade I was at the concours event. At the end of the day, a 917 30 was started up to get back across the golf course. With the big slicks and lot of torque the tires would just spin. A Porsche tractor fired up and putt putted right around the 917.

So I witnessed first had a Tractor outrun a 917.

The tractor should have offered a tow, but he likely did not have a strap.
