Remove cofffee stain from concrete?

Any ideas?

I tried Oxiclean concrete cleaner and the pressure washer. Actually made it more obvious, since it brightened the surrounding concrete, but made no impact on stain.

A little bleach and water with a scrub brush should take care of it. Bleach is strongly basic and coffee is acidic, so bleach dissolves coffee easily. Adding a splash of bleach to wash water is an old trick to revive stained dishes. It should work the same on concrete.

I spilled plenty of coffee on people's driveways. Leave it and the next rain will wash it all out if not, take a water hose, soap and a brush.

I don't think rain works with coffee. I see lots of parking lots these days that seem covered in coffee stains from folks pouring their Starbucks out of their car doors.

Bleach works pretty good to remove coffee stains.

If that doesn't work, maybe you could spill some old motor oil or house paint on the coffee stain!

Just think, how many time we spill coffee on ourselves while drivine? I do it almost daily because I am incompetent bit it washes right out. But then again, I am not in a white dress shirt but cheap Tee shirt and shorts. It should be similar for concrete from my experiences. Time to crank up that pressure washer and fan out the output or maybe its time to just wash up that entire driveway.

It's on the path right outside the front door. It's fairly nasty. Son was getting his keys out and dropped it.

You're right - I got pressure washer out. It didn't touch it.

With your pressure washer...have you used one of these?
I've had excellent results with one.

I use it every year for my approach to my garage. It's shaded and mildew grows every year.
The rotary washing makes for a consistent cleaning...instead of streaks/lines in the concrete.

Hit a small patch with some clorox and it seems to work! ( think I removed what looks like Italy) Don't have enough to do the whole area though. Hopefully I can pick some up tomorrow.

Thanks!

I don't think he has the room to use that effectively given it's a walkway.

OP, what kind of pressure washer? 3,500 PSI or an electric one?
