I was feeling the same way too until I got a dog and now walk him daily. A bit of regular exercise, even a walk, is a good thing. Cutting back on alcohol also helps, but you didn’t hear it from me.

I think part of it is just getting older and losing some of your stamina.

I will be 66 next month and am feeling it myself, as much as I hate to admit it.

I'm still doing physical work pretty much every day and I try to keep the pedal to the metal as much as possible.

It wears on you after a while.

That's where the sleeping part really comes in handy.....lol.....

Exercise. Strangely, when I'm tired but then get on the elliptical trainer for 48 minutes, I am energized afterwards.

My SIL had what everyone thought was narcolepsy, and could fall asleep anywhere/anytime, and usually would. It turned out his MD never checked his thyroid. He is now on a low dose, and has no more problems.

Turning 74 in August, slowing down a bit. This 951 Turbo is beating me up. Had to pull transaxle last week, took about 6 Bayer back&body and felt reasonably well after that adventure. Putting in another transaxle next week. Not looking forward to doing that. On my back in a creeper. Ugh, getting too old for this crap. Wife just shakes her head...

^^^^^ I can relate. I spent all day yesterday maneuvering a DR brush cutter around a big part of my place to get the grasses down enough to weed whack them. Now today I get of do the weed whacking. A couple of acetaminophens helped out last night though.

Ive been feeling tired the last two weeks or so. Almost like I have a touch of the flu but temp is 98.6F.

Eyes are a little puffy and grass is now being cut around here and plants are coming alive. I'm thinking a touch of allergies.
