Are these old golf clubs worth anything?

They were my grandfathers, I've moved them 3 different times and haven't played with them in over 25 years. In fact I gave the game up completely 5 years ago or so - one of the best decisions I've made .

Anyway, are these worth anything? I'm looking to unload them but if they have value would try to sell them.

Look just like the ones you see at garage sales on any given Saturday. Entire bag wouldn't go for $5.00.

Depending on the name/brand/age they may have some value to a collector but as far as playing the game of golf? The wood clubs probably persimmon are worthless. The new golf balls are to hard for those heads. They will shatter the first time you hit a ball with them.

I play for free and forever declare will be a hack. Always coming along free clubs and paraphernalia, bags carts, balls, do-dat range finders, new, old and could care less what if any value. I'm guessing some of it has value but usually pass it along.

Only thing right now I'd like are shorter sticks for the kids and a set of left hand clubs for others. For the kids, I could take the time to cut them down and re-grip but....

Yeah I guess it is a pretty crappy photo....
They are Golfcraft brand, "Ralph Guldahl" , and the blades have 'STAINLESS STEEL' and 'PERSONAL MODEL' also stamped on them.

I can't believe they're worth squat. Call Kepler Custom Golf Clubs & Repair or a local used golf club place or two and see what they say.

I friend of mine used to buy a $5 golf club sometimes when out playing. He'd wait until there was a water hazard and people nearby and duff one into the water, have a tantrum, break the club in half over his knee, and throw the pieces into the water hazard. Great show!

Dave, I have the same problem, same kind of clubs. I use them ~ twice a year to whack some balls at the driving range. Eventually I'll donate them to a thrift store.

Sorry for asking after 5 years passed but what have you done with them? Have you sold them? I have recently started to play golf, even before coronavirus and have little experience in this game. My friend Alex who works with me in the office actually showed me how to play golf last summer, but I wasn’t very interested and gave up this sport immediately. But this winter I started to play in the building and I liked it. Now I am searching for a nice golf clubs for beginners. Have examined many article like this one "golf clubs for beginners.

I don't think he managed to sell them. They look too old, he could only donate them.

The bag and clubs are very 60's/70's and would look fabulous strapped down in the folded back seat or luggage compartment of a long hood or middie targa show car..

Old golf clubs are like a used bowling ball, tennis racket, or tennis shoes. No one really wants them unless they were first owned by a famous player.

The new stuff is better, and usually is fitted to the player. And we all know than a new $20,000 set of clubs will make you play like Tiger Woods.

They'd be good to give to someone who wants to learn the game and doesn't have a set of clubs and might have difficulty buying a newer set.

Also they individually make good decklid prop rods when your struts wear out.

A set of quality clubs and bag, from 2 years ago, is worth about the same.
Nothing.

Worth a ton if signed by Thomas or Michael Skakel

A Skakel set would be missing the 6 iron.
That's how you know it's authentic
