Polar vortex, virtue signalling and woke....
 

I'd never heard these terms until recently.... the last two I've only seen here on PPOT ;). I gotta go back outside now.... wishing for a polar vortex.... can someone 'splain the other two while I'm away?

They are just made up terms for those that can't think for themselves. Just the sheep that follow the herd.

Virtue signalling is a term meant to cast aspersions on anyone who holds values other than the speaker. Is it virtue signalling to state you are a vegetarian?, that you eat only what you grow? that you eat animals you have trapped or hunted yourself?
Is it virtue signalling to state you use public transport? a bicycle wherever you can? a car that you built yourself? only cars which are built by your fellow countrymen?
In reality, it is a way of saying "everybody else is wrong and I am right.

Virtue Signaling is a fine American tradition. It's akin to Patriotism.
