New Balance is part of the de rigior old mans uniform. All the old geezers wear em..

Along with a two button polo pull over and or a cotton button up.shirt with Levis/Wrangler or Lee Blue jeans.

For dress up.substitute Dockers for the Levis.

For dress up shoes a pair of Deck shoes or slip on loafers with or without socks.

Another New Balance fan here.

I bought some Red Wing electrician boots, really only good if you are going up and down a ladder - made for that in my opinion.

Next boot might be cop boots. Talked to a few cops about them, but I need to buy local in person because my feet are odd to fit.

I bought Redwing boots eight years ago. Pushing $200. They did not work out. They just flamed out and support was gone within a year. They were not bad at first.

Guy in my work complex feels the same way about Redwing. He swears by Wolverine Durashocks.

FWIW - After two weeks in these brand new New Balance shoes all foot discomfort is gone. The old ones were played. I really need another pair or two of decent work footwear and rotate. These NB are good for maybe eight months if worn every day.

Just bought a pair of Asics Gel-Kayano running shoes.
Super comfortable with a great arch support....and incredibly light-weight. :)

Just received these and they feel great!

I wanted a pair of slip-ons for working in the yard.

I already have a pair of Muck Boots - the short style - not the tall ones - and they're great, but wanted another pair as back-up and saw these with a better price point.

$37 vs. $90.

I have big feet so ordered the largest size they had - 13.5. Also makes it easier to pull on and off. :)

For another $13 these inserts are really great! Thinner than some of the others so your foot isn't being squeezed and also the bubbled texture feels great on the bottom of my feet!
