Just got an email ad from an internet seller of pool equipment, They were touting a new carbon fiber shaft called Cynergy. Lots of flowery language describing it's hit, feedback, etc. Then the closer...the first carbon fiber shaft to win a certain organization's championship. The accompanying pic was of young Russian pool phenom Fedor Gorst, an up and coming pro player who won that championship. Pros will play with whatever equipment maker will pay them best.
Anyway, here's a 5 minute video of Fedor running a drill. All balls must be pocketed in numerical order in two opposing corner pockets. The real drill purpose is in cue ball control, placing whitey for the next shot. I'm sure I could duplicate this if only I had that carbon shaft...  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7zYP2Ud1PY
