oh man. they have this company called Torpedo or something that makes a motor that goes down with the rudder. super super expensive, since it comes with a high-tech battery. you get to keep the foot pedals, but i suppose you have to pull them up or something. the fins fold up flat againsts the bottom of the boat if needed.

the motor - it's like $2900!! all the kayak tournament guys run motors now. i'll never go down that route.

oh, the kayak shop saw my truck. they said to put it on the roof upside down. no additional hardware on the bars. just some pool noodles or some type of cushion.
i'll pick up some noodles later today.

i'll buy something official later.
