![]() 2013 JCW here, I bought it a few years ago from a fellow Pelican's wife. It's a blast to drive. I do all my own work. The Schwaben/Foxwell scan tool that reads BMW codes has been critical to being able to work on it myself. I actually bought the tool to read proprietary VW Codes, but I added BMW for $75. It will damage wheels and tires on pretty much any pothole. I can't remember everything I have fixed but it includes a broken clutch throw out arm, a failed auxilliary water pump, boost control devices, valve cover, HVAC controller, Struts. It's just as troublesome as my old British cars. It currently has a leaky wastegate, which is integrated to the turbo housing. I'm just deciding what all else to do while I am in there. One annoyance for me is how few aftermarket parts seem to apply to the JCW model. It is a blast as a driver's car. I love the power, the grip, the size and the gearing.
