The cure for happiness
I've been a little too happy in the last few months. Easy cure, 1991 928. Been sitting since 2008 but was well cared for before that being owned by an elderly gentleman.
Even with a flat tire in the back, was able to get it up on the trailer myself using the top level of my stairway winch system, worked better than I could have asked for. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

My 944's/951 made me miserable enough with 4 cylinders. You SIR are asking for it!

Agreed, but I think the challenge and the result will be worth the pain, chronic as it will surely be.

I always liked the 928....very cool snag!
I also predict their value will be sky high in the not too distant future. Congrats, Shaun!

I always liked the 928, guy I got the 914 from had a radiator for that car, I am pretty sure. Groovy whale tail and I like the lights. What color is the interior?
He lost a lot of his 914 stuff in a house fire, too bad. I got some pristine 2 liter Fuchs from him that were in the garage.

Never close the door with the engine running unless you are inside.

Does it have a title? 'Cause buying a 928 with no title would be extra fun!
bought a car on Ebay, no title

Details! Auto or stick. Has it been hit or is the hood just sitting open at a weird angle. Plans for it? I've always loved the look of the 928.

I don't know if it's a favorite, but I've always liked the looks and been curious. Same for the 944, 951, and 968. Just have never taken the plunge with the front-engined brethren.

That oughtta do it. I also have a soft spot for them. If only I had a few years of my life that I wanted to give up .
At least it is not a cis car. May fire right up with some fresh gas/fluids, and a new battery . You and your multimeter are about to become one..

Thanks everyone, very excited about the car. It's an auto. Sitting for so long, the hood hinges were extremely stiff and I didn't want to bend the Al hood closing it. Getting it back to the shop, some PB Blaster freed them right up. Plans. Tough call. Clean it up and get it running and on the road. If I love driving it, I'll keep it. If not really my thing, I sell it to fund the Singering of my 80 Coupe. I hope I like it. But I know it could be a tower of pain.
