perfect day for car washing

Mostly cloudy and warm temps. Perfect for washing or waxing.
Here's mine...I use waterless wash & wax. Pic taken today.

Porsche or not, if you have freshly clean cars..show em.

Try using waterless not rinseless. Way cheaper and safer for the paint.

Was raining cats 'n dogs here today so I took 911 for a drive to wash the salt off from the underside. I may give it a real wash in a month or two.

Decide to wash my wife's CR-V this morning, before it got too sunny in the front yard. I wash the cars on the front lawn to help water the grass.
So, after I dry it off I decide since it's the first of the month, might as well do my monthly check of the tires/oil/windshield washer fluid etc.
Found one tire 7 lbs LOW!
Did an investigation and found a small nail dead center of the tread. It was bubbling from the wash water. Must have picked it up the day before since the TPMS hasn't gone off.
So, instead of delving into why my new old electric train won't run, I spent the morning at the tire store, patiently waiting my turn to have the tire patched.
All it cost me was time.
Sure glad I'm a little anal about the tires. It didn't really look low.
I'd post a pic of the car but it's in the garage now, staying clean, and besides, no one on this board wants to see a super clean 7 yr old CR-V anyways.

^^^ Very lucky that you caught it when you did. Could have been trouble.

I remember when I was a kid...you couldn't hardly go 20 miles without seeing someone on the side of the road with a flat. Ahh..the good old days!

So few of us remember the 1930's.

I want to hear from sugarwood what waterless/not-rinseless means.

Here's mine before Crash took it for a drive a few years ago. Crash be my son.
