Making a wrench

If I have the material, I can cut this out of a 3/8" thick piece of aluminum, cut the handle for finger grooves and cover it with a piece of heat shrink w/adhesive inside. Maybe even put a hole in the end for a piece of leather shoelace to hang it up with. Sorry, but no engraving!

No point in making things more complicated than they need be. A pair of pliers works fine.

2 pieces of PVC, a tee and a hacksaw.

Id just solder on a 3" piece of 1/4" copper rod. Should work just take the knobs off so you dont ruin any seals and dont cover the screw hole

Just buy something with a better shut-off

Brass fittings are great but something like this would be better for your wife.

Still decent but easier to use.

Missed this...

Good idea! ;)

Or you could CAD up some handles and then send the files to a company that does CNC milling to have them made for you, preferably out of something like titanium or a specialized alloy, and then have them coated/treated for extra durability and weather resistance.

Oh come now. He obviously needs to just add a hydraulic solenoid to help turn the handle.
That shouldn't be too difficult.

If I had a 1" diameter 1/2" thick aluminum or acrylic disk with a 3/8" wide, 1/4" deep groove cut down the center of one end and a 1/4" hole through the center of the diameter I could attach it to a file handle and it would work great.

Or, you could unscrew the knob and find a bigger knob to screw on. - the post is already designed to accept a knob.

I just bought this exact tool at Lowes for my gas meter. It looks like it would work for the faucet splitter too.

This kind has been workin' for me for a good long time now.

That green hose has a quick disconnect end on it so I can hook up my hose reel real fast to it.
