I have not had it done, but my wife has. She tested negative. As we sleep in the same bad and live together I figure I was not positive.

I have had sinus surgery. That little swab would be no big deal. I remember vividly my ENT coming towards me with an elephant needle. That sucker had to be 12 inches long, and big enough to tranquilize an elephant. Imagine getting a shot up the nose! It will make your eyes water and I will promise it is way worse than a q-tip.

We get tested here because we are a healthcare facility. The first time it went so far I thought she was doing a colonoscopy from that end. After the first one I was prepared for the sight of it on the back of my eyeball but it wasn't so bad.

I got tested Friday at the Novant Presby hospital here. The tester only swabbed around the inside the outer nostrils. I was expecting the deep dive, so no big deal. I asked her about the other method and she said they don't do it that way anymore. Had the negative result on my hospital site that afternoon.
