The internet is forever. You've left your footprint, such as it is, and it isn't going away.

There are more things in heaven and earth, Tabs, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Can you beat the ghost in pool? A skilled player can. The drill is to break a 9 ball rack, then given ball in hand for your opening shot, see if you can run out.

Tabby, give it a go...;)

Right on Tabs - pursuing ever higher levels of spirituality is where it's at.

And if I may, I believe much of the rise in depression, suicide, and addiction can be tied to the turning away from faith, where they previously found their spiritual centers.

Leaves no footprint but, leaves many pairs of used shoes.

Dark star crashes
pouring its light
into ashes

Reason tatters
the forces tear loose
from the axis

Searchlight casting
for faults in the
clouds of delusion

shall we go,
you and I
While we can?
Through
the transitive nightfall
of diamonds

Mirror shatters
in formless reflections
of matter

Glass hand dissolving
to ice petal flowers
revolving

Lady in velvet
recedes
in the nights of goodbye

Shall we go,
you and I
While we can?
Through
the transitive nightfall
of diamonds

I'll stop by and remove the 911 S from your intangible life. It doesn't exist in your life but could in mine. What's the address?

RWebb 08-19-2020 11:21 AM

BTW, what is the viscosity of a ghost?

We are spirits in the material world.

At least until we shuffle off.

That’s the way of the world. Plant a flower...

This is the what are you listening to thread, right?

A lack of physicality in daily life causes such disconnect.

Steel workers and athletes face no such introspection for instance.

Physical pain fuels introspection.

The "not again" or "how did that happen" aha moment is not intellectual introspection.

It's called "feeling stupid" or "feeling cheated".

Being in the moment (ie sports or dangerous job) means your head is in the game, in the now.

The larger than life vision tabs was having is only possible if one removes themselves from the moment.
