I watched the whole thing - mainly because I hate that man and all he stands for
![]() That and I would have lost a finger in the filming.

Restored?
My dad had an axe that was used heavily over the years and was "restored" several times. The handle was replaced three times and the axe head twice! ![]()

There was an old guy at one of the local flea markets here that used to restore an sell old tools, ( hand planes , old woodworking tools, etc..) It was amazing, the work he did on some of the stuff. Looked like the day they came out of the factory. His prices were a little high but was worth it.

Nothing special, just has the tools and method. Now if he took it apart opposite the way it was put together, that would be spectacular.

That's why I restore motorcycles. It's fun turning something from crap to as-new.

Doesn't remind me of my tools, skills or patience at all.

Thanks for posting, this was in my YT feed and I didn't get a chance to see it. Love this kind of work. Reminds me our own Karl, Discseven.

Over the top. I did this but it would look like garbage next to his work. But, I use it. I wonder if he will use that screwdriver.

Retired, finally

I wire wheeled the rust off an old crow bar last week, then hit it with a coat of clear polyurethane. I was very proud.

Yea - I’m sure the weld is plenty strong although because of where it is I’d be concerned about it letting go. He creates a beautiful end product but I wondered why he chopped it down. Seemed unnecessary to me.
Gorgeous piece. I wouldn’t feel right ever using it to hit a nail though! |
