Oh to be a turtle!

I’m very glad:

1. This thread shows your turtles doing well and loving life (they’re awesome!)

2. This thread does NOT show TP, either unused or otherwise

Believe me...there is plenty of clean-up in the filter from their diet.

If you want pics of that...happy to show em!

I always devote a half hour...once a week..to filter cleaning.
If I wait longer than a week...the filters get clogged and bad things happen.

That's about all the maintenance that they require. The food dish can be filled to last a week or more.

Nope...they don't worry about that. :)

It's an envious life....eat whenever you want...crap wherever you want.
If it gets too cold...just sleep until spring. They have it made.

how is the turtle with the bum leg? all healed up?

Yep..getting around fine. It still chooses to bask in the sun separate from the other turtles. I think it remembers the experience as related to the other turtles.
It will get over it...I'm sure.

It looks a pretty good day to be a turtle.
