OK, I seem to have some success with ceiling paint on top of the latex kilz. I'll try one more coat of paint and if that don't work I'll get the oil based stuff.

The cure all for stains (and for wood knots that bleed) is high temp aluminum paint, the stuff in the tiny cans.

Works every time.
