Goodwood Anyone?

Sent to me by a retired friend. 7 different cars lapping Goodwood...my favorite? The Sprite, proving that it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than...

Hope some here find it as enjoyable as I did..

The lap in the Sprite looked like a blast.

Some very nice videos. THere are many, many more.

It's shocking to see some of those cars. The sprite dancing around on the tiny tires, but it was in the wet. Then you see the lap of the cobra Daytona coupe, and it's not on huge tires. I can't imagine trying to dance one of those around on those tires. THe little mini was impressive by how unimpressive it was. It basically looked like it was flat out the whole time, flat cornering, and hardly ever sliding around.

….I still think the Kenny Brack Daytona Coupe hill climb video at Goodwood is one of the most bonkers.

Of course, in 2017 the Ferrari GTO got pretty banged up. Kudos to these guys for taking them out and running them hard.

Absolutely! There was just an article in either R&T or C&D about a particular 917 that the correspondent was going to get to drive on track. It got rained out, so instead he waxes philosophic about the "morality" of driving such important historical artifacts. He goes back and forth, rightfully arguing that driving them today can in no way add to their provenance, but in the end he makes a very good case for doing so. The biggest crime, the most immoral end for these grand old machines, would be to drain them of all fluids - symbolically their "lifeblood" - and park them in a museum, silencing them forever.
