Thats pretty cool it takes young eyes to do that im sure. I could tell my reflexes for that sort of thing fell off in my early 20s. But you know that record will be easy to beat in a smaller lighter car. Or maybe a gas powered skateboard

Very cool. That looked like a very tight slalom.

Based on the dark marks on the pavement, I suspect they may have practiced/run that a time or 20.

They need to ship her over here to do the Porsche Parade autocross and the SCCA National slalom to see how she compares? I would like to see her do a course with increasing, decreasing radius turns and maybe a 180 degree turn thrown into just to make things interesting.

The other thing that I wonder when I see this sort of thing is, "how specific is the record?" Is it the record for a 400m long slalom with the cones X m apart or what? Because if you move the cones further apart or have fewer cones or a shorter or longer track, then the record will be different. It does not take away from her clearly excellent driving capabilities. It's just easy for folks to do something in a specific way that's a record for publicity purposes these days.

One of the guys in our local PCA region brought his granddaughter to out autocrosses as soon as she was legally able to participate. She was a really good driver, and humbled a few of the regulars.

Our daughter was the same way when we went to the Parade in Sacramento in 2000. She was ahead of the 2nd place lady in her 914-4 by 12.7 seconds so the director told me he thought she had cut some of the course. I suggested a few extra course marshals to keep an eye on her. So they did and on run#2 she had her stereo blasting and was ahead by 12 .76 seconds! Might still be the record for the largest time gap?

You should have told him she was bending time and space. Time travel.

At one of our autocrosses we used to hold at a local track a lady showed up in her 1972 911S that she drove up from Dallas. She was a 100 pound lady and friendly. She ended up as FTD for the day. It really upset some of the local hotshoes in their track prepped cars.

She was a real ringer and often won the ladies event at Parade. Her 911 was set up to perfection by her professional mechanic husband. I will not mention her name on a public forum.

When my brother bought his M5 years ago, he got an invite to do a track day at the BMW plant/track. Lots of guys in their go fast cars.

His wife beat them all and drove a Suburban for a DD.

Guys were pissed. Haha!
