I think that happened in my neighborhood.

I am an old man and I can still see the fun of donuts in an empty parking lot. Not anything I have done in decades. If age hasnt brought me maturity it has at least taught me to be strict on my definition of empty though!

Woodlands Tx is also where a corvette street racing wreck caught on camera went viral a year or 2 ago. It was similarly stupid

(Joking)
I had a coworker. The fastest most powerful car that he'd ever had or driven was a Honda Accord (4 cyl). He was making good money and decided that he wanted an upgrade, so he bought an Alfa Romeo Quadrafogglio (505hp). He drove it sedately during the break in period. He was sitting at a stop sign or light getting ready to turn right and decided he was going to gun it and see what it could do, so he put it in "race mode" (max power, no nannies). He stomped the gas and cranked the wheel. The rear end kicked out, slid back the other direction (he just gripped the steering wheel, no or inadequate inputs), caught traction and proceeded to climb a curb and side swipe a tree.

His car ended up going to the local Ferrari dealer to be repaired. Anything that might be tweaked was replaced, often having to be ordered a couple of times from Italy until the right item was received. The original estimate was $30k. They then adjusted that to $45k. When he picked it up, I'm pretty sure it had gone up to $60k. They had the car for 6 months. I think he'd had the car for 2-3 months when it happened.

When he got the car back, he was scared of it, and said he was "driving Miss Daisy" all of the time.

The video link that Paul posted was of a modified Boxster losing control and plowing through a bunch of spectators on the side of the road exactly the way several of the mustang wrecks have occurred. (pretty sure it was a modified boxster and not a GT4)

Yep, I've got some coworkers that live up that way. I showed them the video when it first came out and they said "I know exactly where that is! I drive through there all of the time."

This is a classic. And I'm pretty sure that the cops busted them both.

Try to keep up with the banter... you missed the joke by a mile
