NFL game thread

Lions against Packers. Johnson, for the Lions, scores the first rushing touchdown of the game.
They're playing at the Packers...so Johnson does the Lambeau Leap into the stands!
Pretends to shake hands with fans....who aren't there. The stands are empty. SmileWavy

I'm watching Carolina play at Tampa Bay....

One of the field goal posts is very caddywompus... and it's obvious... wtf :D?

KFC911 09-20-2020 09:27 AM

I don't think it's gonna matter tho...

14-0 :(

stevej37 09-20-2020 10:10 AM

The Lambeau Leap in an empty stadium is almost as funny as Randy Moss mooning the Packer fans after his TD. Love it!!

How many $100's of millions of dollars are the Cowboys going to give Dak/Elliott/whoever before they realize they still suck, are a .500 team AT BEST and probably won't make the playoffs...yet again.

Rams beat-up the Eagles. Nice.

The Falcons need some coaching in the fundamentals of football.
Sheesh. What a way to loose a game.

Rookie QB Herbert for the Chargers has a touchdown drive on his first start as a starter . Big kid good for him .

Yep... just caught the very end... the onside kick...

Idiots :(

And there is no other team I love to hate like the Cowboys (just because of Jerry Jones).

The Falcons are over achievers when it comes to snatching a loss from the jaws of victory 😁. They make too many stupid mistakes .

Scott Douglas 09-20-2020 03:58 PM

Man, the Chargers almost won it.

But how about the field-goal kicker for the Chiefs! First kicks a 53 yarder, but gets called back on a penalty so now he has to kick a 58 yard field goal. Kicks it just as the Chargers are calling time out and the ball goes right through the goal posts. Field-goal doesn’t count due to the time out. Two minutes later he steps back up to the ball and once again kicks another 58 yard field goal for the win!

My daughter's pic is on one of the fan cutouts in at broncos stadium.
The fake fans and fake crowd noise are as dumb as their SJW stuff.

cabmandone 09-21-2020 05:31 AM

Steelers are looking MUCH better with Ben back. I'll reserve judgement on just how much better until they play a good team.

I don't give a crap about the fake fans... but that asinine crowd noise "sound track" is stooooooopid. It did make the announcers less annoying tho' ;)

Some great games yesterday...

Are preseason games ancient history now? Methinks so...

From what I heard on the news, there were lots of injuries over the weekend. Lots more than normal.
it could be argued that was due to a lack of organized training and practice over the summer, or no spring training to get them in game shape. Or just Karma ;)

Scott Douglas 09-21-2020 08:01 AM

Maybe, just maybe, all the injuries this past weekend will get the players to invest some of their own time into conditioning in the off season, if the pre-season and training camps are curtailed in the future.

I'd like to take a tour of SoFi stadium too, just to photograph it. Looks pretty amazing from what I've seen on TV. I know I'd never be able to attend a game there.

sammyg2 09-21-2020 08:20 AM

if they gave guided tours of that stadium for $10 bucks each, they have to book 500 million of em to break even.
That would take a while.

You cant even get someone to hand you a tiny beer for $10 at an NFL stadium, you think a guided tour would cost that?

If they did have something like that, I would be SHOCKED if it were less than $100 and likely much more than that.
