A 307? I have heard of the 305 SBC since my El Camino came with that, but never a 307. I know Ford makes a 307.

I also know there is LOT about engines I don't know. :confused:

307 is a low performnce SBC from the late 60s.

Yes^^^essentially a low buck, entry level V-8 for Chevy late 60's / early 70's.

I had two in a row (truck and a car) they sounded like a V8, but were very under powered. Should have been good on fuel but in fact were NOT. 15 miles per gal at best.

I think that piston belongs to the mighty 307
