There has to be a few maker spaces in HI somewhere. Go find one of those and ask the people inside.

Got tons of friends making piecemeal stuff for under $20.

I'm sure there are, but they would also charge me way more than the $30 + $10 shipping for a new part. Was just brainstorming since my tops don't go bad, only the bottoms.

Really. My latest 88 was kind of neglected and there were no bottoms on the striker. Just checked my 77 and it is the same: I need new bottoms. However, this car was pampered by 2 doctors prior to my ownership. Perhaps it is the heat and humidity? I had to change 2 more sets in other cars, but those were before Rennline came up with the kit. I had to buy new strikers ad threw the old ones away. :(

Who do you use for nylon? Online or local?

The trick is that you need a 3D (CAD) model of the part.

Then send that to a print service. I have a favorite for nylon parts. (super cheap, unless you need 2 day turn.)

Any place with an SLS or an MJF printer will do.
