Degenerate Gamblers
A short few minutes video from 2015 at SBE (Super Billiards Expo,,,kind of like a SEMA event for pool hall junkies) Jayson Shaw, the guy breaking, was well known then, one of the top 5 players...pros often do this, play a single rack for $100 or so, a way to pick up a few extra bucks. The challenger here is a young Skyler Woodward of Kentucky...he's since blossomed into a world class player, but wasn't well known when this took place. (edit) For tournament play, Skylar dresses well...I suspect his dress here was for hustling purposes.
The degenerate gambling goes on among the spectators...watch the guy in the gray sweatshirt, looking like he couldn't buy a cup of coffee. As Skyler shoots, he starts counting out his loss, then hands it to the winner. The action like this goes on 24/7 during the expo...great thing for those who hate their money.
