It has been lowered and it is my old control. No charge. Very small holes to cover which you will see today.

My 84 year old mother wouldn't have been able to figure out either one of them.
But, having said that, she doesn't email either.

Well - not quite what she wrote. They just moved the new stat down a little. Actually further down than I would have wanted, but that's what happens when I'm not there to direct things.

Funny thing is before leaving yesterday I spent a couple minutes with Mom to confirm our goal.

"OK Mom.....just to confirm. We want your previous thermostat instead of the new one - and we want it right about here - right? That is our #1 goal here."

She nods her head (yes).

As long as she is happy and everything is working - who cares. Right?
