I enjoyed watching that this morning. YouTube also popped up one from a few years ago about Mark and six guitars which are significant.

Watched a few bits of it and will watch it all when I get home. Looking forward to it.
Both of them come off as very down to earth. Met Johnson in 2016-ish as he was walking from his car crew to a talk to another car crew at VIR. He was racing a tiny 1970 Royale RP4. I said "I'd just like to shake your hand. He said "What?" He couldn't hear me. ![]() Saw Knopfler at 95 Monterey Historics racing an old Lotus. One of those 50's LeMans jobs. Lotus 11? Talked to his crew but never saw him off of the track.

the do both seem very nice. i’ll watch any brian johnson interview i come across because he is just fun to listen to and seems so sincere and passionate about everything. i have a friend in sarasota who says he’s a jerk but i really don’t believe it.
i picked up his book about the cars he has owned but haven’t started it yet.

We watched that on Youtube last night. It was very good. Amazing how Knopfler has aged.

He's got a regular face as well. No chiseled jaw, etc. Just a older bloke that put on some pounds. You'll have that. I was definitely thinking about mortality though when I saw him. As I've always said "Time waits for no one. And it won't wait for me." I think that was me.
![]() It was a great show.
