I know he hates me...

I write an accurate representation of the world.

If you delve into Jungian psych you will find he talks about the "Shadow Self" which is the dark side of the human psyche. One that we all try and repress. It is only when you meet the "dark side" of the self that you can find and be your true complete self. You can transcend the darkness when you face it in the mirror. You can make choices as to what you do.

Jordan Peterson talks about the Shadow Self where he says that he can instantly tell when a person has faced his or her own darkness. The ones who haven't he says "are moon pied with a smile on their faces"..I call them Eloi. The ones who have faced the darkness have a steeliness, a hardness or seriousness to their faces.. "They know that they can draw the sword but it doesn't mean that they do." As Peterson says, "The world is full of horror"

I say if you can't face it you can not beat it back and are in essence are held hostage to it. Also by confronting the sloth you gain the power derived by wielding the sword of truth.

Best post of the whole thread, the perfect Ying to Tabs Yang

I don't read everything that Tabs posts here but the thread title just made me think of that old song.

Tabs has been very helpful to me over the years that I have been here and I do have a lot of respect for him. Maybe one day I will find myself in his neck of the woods for an all you can eat BBQ buffet...

Actually Tabs, I don't hate you.
I suggested you use the moniker "Citizen Tabs" (which you adopted for a season) and agree with you on many of your conservatively fiscal opinions. I just wish you had more interest in people's feelings than insisting you are right about negative predictions. I have said so in more gentle terms to no avail.
I had hoped you would consider my putting up a mirror before you but you seem to be entrenched in your method (again not the message but the method). I used stronger words this time because previous communications have gone unheeded.

Per Daniel's request, I will back away and ignore your posts rather than continue to argue. I hope you will reconsider the motivations to your method but I will no longer be the voice of one crying out in the wilderness for you repent.

A bit of trivial: That was the first hit to the Detroit phenomenon known as Motown.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money_(That%27s_What_I_Want)
"Money (That's What I Want)" is a rhythm and blues song written by Tamla founder Berry Gordy and Janie Bradford, which was the first hit record for Gordy's Motown enterprise. Barrett Strong recorded it in 1959 as a single for the Tamla label, distributed nationally on Anna Records. Many artists later recorded the tune, including the Beatles in 1963 and the Flying Lizards in 1979.

Nice to see Deborah Evans-Stickland again. I certainly had a good think about her a few times back in the seventies.

Speaking of money... I've been getting rid of the stuff. In New Zealand we had our own elections and the socialists got in again :( so the markets got a severe case of the jitters so I bought a swag more airport shares/stocks. Gun auction in a few weeks so I may get rid of some more money there. Evil stuff ya know, does weird things to people.
