Better that he got away from a receiving corps that a friend of mine, a huge Patriots fan, has christened, "Easter Island" without the pass catching ability.

As a former HS QB, and I know how wide the gulf is between HS and even a small college but the comps are nonetheless apt: My Junior year I had a senior offensive line, talent at the skills and an innovative coach. I may have bought into hype.

My senior year I spent more time on my back than a porn star.

Cam is going to be fine, the Patriots are not.
