The Usonian design houses are a lot more modest than the earlier Prairie style like you see in Oak Park. If you ever get a chance to do the FLW Foundation walking tour, I highly recommend it.

It has a 2 car garage - part of the 60's addition.

FLLW's Usonian houses were middle class, inexpensive homes. They all had carports; a catchy new design feature in the 30's and 40's.

They were designed to be mass produced, don't compare them to his incredible ultra homes.
