Getting my Good Conduct pinned by Commodore Wells, en route to Desert Storm. That tall guy in the background is fellow Pelican Don Newton.  Getting my EAWS on the flight deck while underway during a Tiger cruise from Hawaii to Bremerton coming home from Desert Storm. My Dad is next to me.  It was the second time Pop joined one. The previous one was on USS Wisconsin BB-64 from Ft. Lauderdale to Norfolk.
