I used to sit next to a guy at work that was/is heavily involved in this. Full suit of armor made of titanium and everything to go along with it including custom swords, shields, under garments etc.

Didn't realize there were reenactments of PARF on YT! :D

I have a friend who is a member of a local medieval group. They dress up and have lots of fun on weekends (sleeping in realistic tents, cooking with period utensils etc.) but I had no idea fighting in full suits of armour was a thing. Those guys were going for it. Full contact blows! :eek:

Those SOBs are big guys. Maybe even fat? I wonder if the real knights were a bunch of malnutritioned medieval men paid to kill? I bet they weren't that big and scrawny?

There are people who earn a good living making Medieval Clothes and Armour.

There's a guy in the UK that makes authentic Medieval arrows. As far as I know this is his only source of income.
