"Demolition Man" may have predicted our present and future

Some interesting parallels to our present existence with masks, vax, and government mandates in the classic film Demolition Man.

I dig Sandra Bullock in that era.




I'm just hoping that the restaurant situation doesn't transpire like it did in the film.

It is interesting how that film used a Chinese cultural influence to such an extent.

Saw the film for the first time a few weeks ago.
Had previouslly seen a few year old video drawing from it and comparing it to where society has gone.

There is a part of me that wants to watch it often enough I pick up the san angeles lingo.

One thing that surprises me is that the police officer mentions early in the film they did a thermal scan.
Surely that would come up in court?
or was the whole situation rigged against him in the first place?

I think the movie liked their burning flames a bit much, seem to be the decor in lots of places.
I don't think it represents the present/future, but it did get aspects of it.
