I do not hate doing it and plan on finishing wrapping everything this Sat/Sunday with football on in the background. Not a game I really care about of course.

This year family has sent gifts straight here so I have way more wrapping than normal.

I was thinking this:

I like wrapping. Especially the challenging shapes. Forget the scissors, I cut with a sharp snap knife.

My wife is impressed with my ability to wrap odd shapes quickly.

I used to work for a commercial painter. Starting at the bottom, you're stuck doing all the prep work.
Gotta mask off all kinds of weird stuff to withstand being blasted with an airless paint sprayer.
Very quickly. With precise, crisp lines.

Same thing, but with pretty paper. Nice to know presents I wrap will repel 2500 psi.

I suffer from high functioning autism, and one of my "things" is wrapping stuff (the other is numeric sequences and pattern recognition). I guess that makes me the odd one out here, but I love wrapping, and find it strangely relaxing.

I am quite particular about how I do it too, as I use a knife to both cut the paper and as a folding aid to get all the creases and folds perfect and crisp around a box. I love it when the end result is so tight around a gift that people can't get to a loose enough edge to actually open it.

Don't care much for wrapping odd shaped stuff though.

I am the designated wrapper in the family. It's not that I necessarily enjoy it, but my wife does a self-admittedly lousy job so it's my responsibility.
