Just say it. I have used an impact wrench to install a ledger board with lags, FWIW.

Many times.

And more that had nothing to do with automotive.

I'm kinda curious what all here suggest to use.

I could use something like the cordless Snap-on cordless heavy use impacts without the price. It would be nice to no longer depend on the air compressor.

what say ye, brain trust?

I have the rigid impact wrench. Pretty good so far. Use it to change tires on the trucks, trailers, and some engine tear down. Lithium ion battery is pretty nice.

I hear the harbor freight one is pretty good for around a c note.

Yeah the harbor freight bauer. Keep seeing it for 80 bucks without the battery. Which is 100 bucks less than what my rigid normally cost.

By impact, do you mean "Ike and Tina" type impact or are yippy talking about "screen door in a hurricane?" I'm assuming and hoping it's the latter.

It's hilarious how many guys have their brains filling in the "blanks". Probably wouldn't have happened it Yo's included a pic.

Eew, I don't want one that makes an earthquake unless it's figurative like the AC/DC song.

Wow, you get a lit more than the standard work out of yours.

They are all expensive whether they are snap on or not. You can pay now or later. If you pay later they are probably a lot more expensive than if you pay up front.

I use it, and I'll prolly break it from use.

That's more on the lines of; everything is made in China so who cares if they knock off some products and rebrand them...
