Anybody ID this vintage logo?

I'm thinking a vintage HAYS or Dick Landy Industries logo. Appears as though the torque converter is what's being featured in the logo...

Vintage is 1918 thru 1931. Not many torque converters around then.

I would say 50's-60's, headers were coming on strong in the drag racing scene.

My child hoop tool box had that logo on it.
Sadly, floating around Southern California somewhere now.

All depends on what you’re selling. We have a “Vintage Store” within our stores (Thrift) and in clothing at least, it’s the ‘1990’s back. That oughta make most of us here feel old. We routinely get 100.00+ for repopped band T-shirts made in the ‘90’s for concerts held in the ‘70’s. Shoulda kept all mine.....

Appears as these were made in 60s/70s ...but sold at department stores or chain auto parts stores. They're a big internet mystery. Some guys are saying they were made by Vermont American. They had mopar inspired racing stripes on the boxes....

New tool box. Anyone know this logo? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I understand the tool boxes were car show promo items. Here is a very nice one on ebay:

That was on a box in my dads garage when I was a kid. I can’t recall what it was for.

Dad was a pioneer of drag racing. I’ve reached out to him to see if he can recall.

I think that the boxes were not officially sanctioned by Dodge and the manufacturer (like a lot did at the time) "adjusted" the "super bee" logo just enough that they could sell an item with the racing stripe and similar logo and tap dance around whether it was the same as the one owned by the manufacturer. I think they tried to call that one "wheelie" or some similar nickname vice "super bee" to keep them out of court.

I would not be surprised as it was factory on a '69 Road Runner and other similar cars:
