Taking long enough. Too much hot air. "People are hurting." Hell....you wouldn't know it by their actions! Just get the checks out, knuckleheads!

Won’t get squat... again.

Same here. I did well in 2019 but took a massive hit in 2020. However since they base it on 2019 I get nothing...again.

That’s why I think it should be distributed as a loan, with payback based on 2020 income.

Rick is right. When I first met my better half, she had an account at walmart, Wood Forrest or something of that nature. She referred to it as a second chance bank. There were overdraft fees, minimum balance fees, yearly fees, late fees.....

I marched her down to the Wells Fargo, gave her $200 to open an account, they gave her a prepaid visa card, and she let it roll. Since then, she has a credit score, bought a house, new windows are coming for said house, and is $30K in debt with more on the way. She's living the American Dream!

Some people can't control themselves, the others well...

I think they should issue them as a loan. If your 2021 tax bracket is 22 perecent or above, you owe the whole amount back. This would get the money out there fast and get the stimulus going without going through a lot of pre-approval time and paperwork, but in the end wouldn’t waste a lot of money on people who don’t need it.

This is a good idea. Email your Congressman/Senator!

I have!
Now they’re saying they will use the most recent tax return, so if you file early and they pass the bill soon it could be based on your 2020 taxes.
